Committee of the Whole - 2nd Meeting of Month

THAT Committee of Whole recommend that Council adopt the solution identified in Report Number 2022-12 that positions Alternative 1- replacement of the existing single lane bridge (Structure 2121) with a steel beam bridge as the preferred option; and FURTHER THAT the project be included in the 2024 Capital Budget Plan.

THAT the Committee of Whole recommend that Council provide a Letter of Concurrence to Rogers Telecommunications in support of the installation of a 25m Slimpole Telecommunication Tower at 260 Saratoga Rd – Kincardine in accordance with the governing regulations set out by Innovation, Science, Communication Department Canada (ISED); and FURTHER THAT Council is aware that the jurisdiction for approval of the noted facility rests strictly with ISED Canada, and that the Municipality's role is one of a commenting body to ISED and the Applicant.

THAT Committee of Whole recommend that Council pass a By-law to grant final acceptance of Stonehaven Subdivision (Plan 3M-98) Phase III and Wieck Boulevard, Morrison Crescent, and Coombe Drive; and FURTHER THAT Council repeal By-law 2017-052 being a By-law to establish and assume McCullough Crescent and part of Wieck Boulevard; and FURTHER THAT Council grant approval for the road dedication By-law to assume all of Wieck Boulevard, Morrison Crescent, Coombe Drive, and McCullough Crescent; and FURTHER THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Chief Administrative Officer to execute all required documentation on behalf of the Municipality.

THAT Committee of Whole recommend that Council pass the Site Plan Control By-law as presented and repeal the existing Site Plan Control By-law No. 2022-112.

THAT this Committee of Whole Meeting adjourn at 6:58 p.m.
