Kincardine BIA

THAT the minutes of the September 15, 2020 meeting of the Kincardine BIA Board of Management be accepted as presented.

THAT the Kincardine BIA Board contribute $2000 to fund lighting installations in the downtown as part of the Leave the Light On initiative.

THAT the Kincardine BIA Board contribute $1200 to the production of a promotional guidebook aimed at promoting the '12 Days of Christmas in Downtown Kincardine' as produced by the Kincardine Independent.

THAT the Kincardine BIA Board approve the 2021 budget as presented.

THAT the Kincardine BIA Board move forward with the proposal received from CKNX Radio to run 4 weeks prior to Christmas; AND FURTHER that the Kincardine BIA add an additional two weeks of ads to the proposal to start promotion earlier in November.

THAT the Kincardine BIA Board fund the installation of year-round lighting in three alleyways as identified in downtown Kincardine, at a cost of approximately $13,000 plus install.

THAT the Kincardine BIA Board recommend to Council the prioritization of a downtown Kincardine streetscape revitalization project; AND FURTHER should available funds dictate only certain portions of repair, that the interlocking brick sidewalks be looked at as the primary focus; AND FURTHER should the project move forward that the Kincardine BIA Board be considered in consult as design/repairs are decided upon.

THAT the Accounts for Payment be accepted as prepared and presented.

THAT the Kincardine BIA Board of Management adjourn at 10:35am.
