Outstanding Business 5.1 Community Safety and Policing Grant Update The end of the grant is quickly approaching with all activities needing to be complete by March 31, 2022. A virtual community information session is being held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. The session will be geared towards those in the local hospitality, tattoo, and transportation industries. 5.2 Victim Support Grant The first year of this two-year grant was delayed by redeployments and lock down restrictions, however we were fortunate to receive a three-month extension to completed the activities we had planned for the first year including officer training. As part of this grant, we are hosting another virtual community information session focused on teaching families and youth about healthy relationship, consent, and human trafficking. The session will take place on Tuesday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. The Board has requested that plans and goals for the second year of the grant be presented at the May 12, 2022 meeting. 6.
