THAT the Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee adopt the minutes of September 15, 2020 as presented.

THAT the Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee submit the 2021 budget as presented; AND FURTHER WHEREAS the Arts, Culture & Heritage Plan of 2015 was approved by Council Resolution #04/15/15 - 03; AND WHEREAS the Arts, Culture and Heritage Plan calls for the creation of a clearly defined Staff position at the municipal level, who shall be tasked with providing administrative & procedural assistance to local Arts, Culture and Heritage groups and organizations; AND WHEREAS the Committee has been working since the establishment of the committee in 2015, without the benefit of a dedicated staff member; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee direct staff to request a part time person as part of the 2021 budget process to assist in fulfilling the mandate set out in the Arts, Culture and Heritage Plan 2015 that was adopted by Council.
